Are you an experienced backend developer looking for a new challenge? PixelPool, a leading company in the fasjion industry, is seeking a talented individual to join our Dtail platform development team. As a senior candidate, your expertise and skills will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our innovative and sustainable platform.
 

Who are we?

At PixelPool, we’re revolutionizing the fashion industry with Dtail (https://www.dtail-platform.com) as a sustainable alternative for critical parts of the industry's workflow. Dtail is a 3D, cloud-based platform that is used by top fashion brands around the world to design, plan, present and sell collections using 3D samples and virtual environments. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest web- and 3D technology including:

• .NET 6 (soon to be upgraded to .NET 7) for all backend services.

• Docker-based runtime using AWS ECS (soon to be migrated to Kubernetes).

• Infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK.

• Unreal Engine 4.27 for 3D pixel streaming workloads.

PixelPool is headquartered in The Hague and with offices in Bulgaria, Poland and the United States. Besides designing and developing Dtail, PixelPool provides 3D content production services to the fashion industry.

As a senior backend developer, you will make significant impact by:

• Developing and enhancing the backend and APIs of the Dtail Platform.

• Ensuring uniformity, consistency, and ease of use in our APIs.

• Applying your expertise in NoSQL access patterns to design efficient software solutions.

• Creating unit and integration tests for new and existing components.

• Test and deploy new versions of the backend and APIs to the development environment.

• Creating and maintaining clean, scalable and maintainable code.

We are looking for someone who can work autonomously on many different components, who can adapt to the changing priority of the roadmap, and who communicates well regarding progress and impediments.

Besides that, there are several skills that we expect you to have as they will help to accelerate your onboarding.

Must have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with creating .NET Console and ASP.NET web applications in C#

• Strong experience with web services (REST)

• Proficiency in Git for version control

Should have:

• Experience with Docker.

• Familiarity with .NET Core or .NET 5/6/7.

• Knowledgeof test-driven development using frameworks like NUnit

Nice to have:

• Exposure with applying Machine Learning.

• Experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB and S3

• Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.

• Demonstrable skills with clean architecture, domain driven design, and other software architecture principles.
