Who we are looking for

For our office in Sofia, we are looking for an in-house Junior IT Support Specialist to help us with all IT-related issues and to provide technical support to our team. The Junior IT Support Specialist will play an essential role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently and to ensure optimal use of our hardware and software technologies, enhancing system performance, and securing data.

What you’ll do (main responsibilities)

Your role will be diverse, with some of the activities being related to:

• Respond to Jira Service Desk tickets and support requests, prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary.

• Provide technical support to on-site and remote employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly and effectively.

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.

• Provide the necessary IT equipment to employees and monitor inventory.

• Resolve technical problems by collaborating with team members and external vendors, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.

• Support new projects related to corporate and production IT infrastructure.

• Support the local IT tasks in the Information Security Management System.

• Attend the monthly information security and IT meetings.

What you’ll bring to the team (experience/skills/knowledge/mindset)

Must haves

• Good working level of English.
• Solution-driven and pro-active mindset.
• 1+ year of experience in providing IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems.
• Basic network infrastructure knowledge.

Nice to have

• Jira / Confluence knowledge.

• Experience with ISO27001 and Information security management systems.

• Interest and affinity towards IT-related ISO standards and procedures.

• Strong technical skills with interest in learning Information security best practices.

• Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills.

• Prioritization skills and ability for quick and accurate execution of tasks.

• Great attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
